Of course I’m joking in the headline, but I’ve been writing in my newsletter for the last couple of months and in numerous posts on my site that we’re seeing a noticeable shift in our local market, almost to the point of becoming a seller’s market.
It looks like we aren’t the only local market experiencing this and now this is getting noticed even by media outlets like CNN.

The article pretty much restates what I’ve been saying for the last month or two but they have their own take on the whole issue as well as what they are looking at which brings them to this conclusion.
It’s important to pay attention to since I’m finding more and more buyers are operating under an assumption that the real estate market is the same as it was a year or more ago and are caught off guard when they try to buy a home or condo now.
Buying a home may never get any cheaper than this. Several housing experts are predicting that this year will be the last chance for bargain hunters to cash in on the best deals of the weak housing market.
