Personal Biography

Ron Nedd is a licensed Realtor with over a decade of experience serving buyers and sellers. He specializes in the sale and purchase of residential properties including single-family homes, condos, and townhomes in the Tampa Bay, Clearwater, and Clearwater Beach areas.

Ron has spent much of his time educating himself in order to provide his clients with the most efficient, positive, and stress-free real estate experience possible. He is a Seller Representative Specialist with the SRS Council and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative with the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (both Councils are affiliates of the National Association of Realtors®). He has earned the distinguished Certified Distressed Property Expert® designation to assist sellers in avoiding foreclosure. He has studied photography, copywriting, as well as marketing and advertising. Additionally, Ron completed courses on marketing and selling luxury properties and is an active member of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing.

Ron was also recognized in 2015 on the Best of Trulia list by being in the top 1% of all agents on Trulia based on 2014 sales and client reviews.

Ron’s mission is to provide a high quality, reliable real estate service to buyers and/or sellers that exceeds their expectations, results in a successful closing, and gets them excited about their future. He focuses on the individual client and making them feel secure, confident and cared for by being responsive and maintaining a high level of communication and attention. Ron’s personal satisfaction and feelings of achievement come from helping improve the lives of good people using his skills and knowledge to help them achieve an important goal in their lives.

Ron began his career as a Realtor in 2004, at the beginning of the real estate boom in Florida. Although it was a seller’s market, he focused his efforts on being a buyer’s agent during that period. Ron felt that buyers needed every advantage that they could find, and he wanted to assist them in getting through the stressful and complex process of purchasing property.

Over the last 5 years, he has expanded his practice to include sellers. He realized that there is both an art and a science to marketing and selling properties. He spent a lot of time studying the most successful activities and has tested all the various procedures and processes to develop a comprehensive program for sellers. He Utilizes the skills that he learned in his previous careers as an IT specialist, management consultant and Chiropractor to ensure that his real estate clients receive the best possible service.

When not working with clients, prospecting, or building his business he spends his time playing classical music on his piano, enjoying fine art, and spending time with friends and family.

Background Information

Ron grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born an entrepreneur and leader. He started as President of his Kindergarten class, then he served as Vice President of his Junior High Student Council and President of the Drama Club in High School. He was the Vice President of the Burnsville Jaycees, and ultimately became President of his Chiropractic class.

He attended Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri. Ron has lived & worked in Cincinnati, Ohio, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Los Angeles, California. He always took on positions of responsibility where he could learn new skills and help others.

Ron founded and operated a Chiropractic clinic in Minnesota from 1982 to 1989. He was a management consultant from 1989 through 1995 for doctors across the U.S. and Canada. And, Ron was a Systems Manager in charge of all computer, software, phone and administrative systems in a large company in Los Angeles from 1996 through 2003.

Having accomplished all of his goals in each of his previous professions, he set out to find a new career that would provide him with what he most valued–the challenge of learning, mastering skills, and becoming a true professional in a broad field of new skills. He enjoys the opportunity of meeting and helping lots of people.

He began playing piano at the age of 10 and entered his first competition at the age of 11. He most enjoys playing classical music, such as Mozart and Beethoven with Chopin. Ron would eventually like to write music.

Volunteer Work and Phlianthropy

Ron dislikes people or companies that take unfair advantage of others and he has vigorously fought against such abuses. When he worked as a Chiropractor, he partnered with the Minnesota Insurance Commissioner’s office to expose abusive insurance practices. He challenged one of the largest health insurance companies in the USA, which lead to a major investigation that involved Insurance Commissioners from seven states. This investigation resulted in one of the largest fines levied against an insurance company in history.

He has donated time and money to the field of education. This includes five years working with the founder of a national literacy program headquartered in Hollywood, California, which was recognized by well-known celebrities and the highest levels of government for its stellar results in raising the reading levels and math skills in children and adults. He worked on both the curriculum to assist the volunteer tutors to obtain even better results. Additionally, he worked to improve the quality and effectiveness of the organization’s printed marketing materials.
