Mobile App to Get Info When Out Looking |
Many buyers will get listings sent to them from the MLS to see what is available but will also drive around neighborhoods they are interested in to see what might be available there. I often hear from buyers who are in front of a house with a For Sale sign asking to get information about it.
A few years ago I had a mobile app set up that my clients could use for this purpose but it didn’t work as well as I would have liked. A common complaint about many of these mobile apps is that if you aren’t on WiFi they are very, very slow.
Well our MLS provider has now put together an app that you can download for your iPhone or Android device which will let you look up information on any listed property and see what is for sale in the area where you are at any time – and it works quickly even when you are not on WiFi.
If, for example, you are in a neighborhood you like and see a house with a for sale sign you can open the app and find that property to see if it is still available and then see the pictures and description. You will also see any other houses nearby that are for sale and can get the info on them. In addition, if you see something you like and need to reach me to ask any questions or get information that isn’t in the listing – you will be able to call me directly.
I’ve tested this out because I have been frustrated using other apps like this when I’m out with clients because they are painfully slow and I found this to be much faster. The image above just shows the search results screen – when you click on any of the red or blue tabs you’ll be shown a summary for that property and can then click on that to see the listing info and photos.
If you are interested in downloading this app for your iPhone or Android device, just type this address in your Internet browser on your phone, ask me to email or text it to your phone, or visit my Facebook page on your smartphone:
