Tarpon Springs homes can be found in the 3 different sections of Tarpon Springs and this gives you a wide variety of locations and benefits.
The first area where you’ll find Tarpon Springs homes is that part of Tarpon Springs which is west of Lake Tarpon. This stretches from Lake Tarpon all the way westward to the Gulf of Mexico and includes the area around the sponge docks.
There are many different types of neighborhoods throughout this section of Tarpon Springs and includes some very nice ones and some that are very rundown. One section that is especially nice is the west part of Riverside Dr. and over onto Seabreeze Dr. The picture you see here is one of the newer homes on Seabreeze Drive with a great open view of the Gulf.
Another section where you’ll see Tarpon Springs homes is that part which is north of Lake Tarpon and is found on either side of E. Tarpon Ave. which becomes Keystone Rd. There are quite a few very nice communities there with some of the homes located right on the lake. Keystone Road is the main road north of Lake Tarpon that connects US Highway 19 to East Lake Blvd. and has been only a 2 lane road but is being widened which should make things much easier traffic-wise for this area.
The third area of Tarpon Springs homes is in the East Lake section of Tarpon Springs. Lake Tarpon splits Tarpon Springs into an eastern and western portion and that part which is locate east of the lake is still known as Tarpon Springs but the area (which includes part of Palm Harbor and a little bit of Oldsmar) is known as East Lake. This is a very nice area with many newer subdivisions including a golf community. I highly recommend checking out the East Lake area and have had many families and couples buy a house there because they really liked it.
